About
I enjoy working with singers and I am committed to helping you unlock the potential in your voice.
I am a self-confessed Musical Theatre ‘geek’ and specialise in preparing young voices for the industry. Since opening, 100% of MHVS’ auditioning students have been offered a place at one or more of their chosen drama schools. I also work with many adult professionals in preparation for auditions, performances and events.
Whatever your goal, developing personal vocal style and helping to perfect a solid technique that will ensure your voice lasts a lifetime are the main aims of lessons with me.

For her final project, Maia created a study on ‘Depression and its Impact Upon the Working Practices of the Professional Singer’.
The main findings being that, whilst singing is good for mental health, for professionals who suffer with depression, the impact of the symptoms upon the voice can be debilitating.
The study also outlines considerations for singers, teachers and mental health services. The resulting thesis is available here.
